Why Join a Committee?
Chamber Committees serve as essential support systems for fulfilling the mission of the Chamber. They provide members with a meaningful opportunity to share insights, collaborate with fellow business leaders, and actively support the Chamber’s programs and initiatives.
By joining a committee, you’ll:

What to Expect as a Committee Member
As a committee member, you’ll work closely with the Chamber’s staff and leadership team—including the Chamber President/CEO, Chairman of the Board, and Committee Chair—to help develop, guide, and execute key projects and initiatives. Your time and talent will be used effectively to support strategic goals and reduce the operational burden on Chamber staff.
Member Expectations
- Attend and participate in committee meetings regularly
- Review materials and come prepared to offer insights
- Complete individual assignments from the Committee Chair
- Offer input and guidance based on provided research or direction
- Support the Chamber by attending relevant events and programs

The Chamber’s Role in the Community
As a 501(c)(6) non-profit mutual benefit corporation, the Chamber exists to unite businesses, professionals, and community members in efforts to promote:

It’s important to note that while the Chamber is not a social club, charity, or government agency, we work in close partnership with all sectors to advance shared goals. Our Carefree Cave Creek Chamber Foundation, which holds 501(c)(3) status, supports scholarships and community grants as part of our broader commitment to service.
