Black Mountain United Church of Christ is a protestant denomination rooted in the Congregational and German Reformed churches. We are a progressive, inclusive and welcome all. We believe that God is still speaking through many voices. We like thoughtful sermons and discussions on the Bible, theology, and experiencing God through relationships and spiritual practice. Our Mission Projects involve caring for the homeless, older homebound adults, animals and the food bank. We are a congregation where love grows, rooted in grace.
Worship – Sundays at 10 a.m which includes Sunday School and Nursery. We have an active women’s fellowship, seasonal bible studies, a book group, classes on Spirituality and fellowship events. Holy Days are celebrated with special worship services and a Christmas Eve Feast and an Easter Sunday Brunch with Egg Hunt.
