The mission of the GIG is simple: make it easy for anyone ready to give back. Guests will enjoy a complimentary buffet lunch while meeting local nonprofit leaders face-to-face to learn about their missions, needs, and the volunteer roles that keep their work alive. After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for new volunteer training on the spot, turning inspiration into immediate action.

“Many people want to get involved but don’t know where to start,” said Steve Woods of Tech 4 Life, Founder of Desert Foothills Volunteers. “The GIG brings all of our local nonprofits together in one place, so residents can explore options, ask questions, and find the right fit for their time, skills, and passion.”

What Attendees Will Experience

  • One-on-one conversations with local nonprofits
  • Insight into current volunteer needs
