Veterans Services Mobile Office

One-on-one assistance from a Veterans Administration Case Manager, with referrals to community-based organizations with funding assistance, as well as employment assistance, including: employment assessments, career guidance, job development and referrals to training and apprenticeship opportunities. Martha Washington

Martha Washington will entertain children ages 3-6 with lively stories about United States history and the importance of the fourth of July. Registration is not required.

Intermediate Conversational Spanish

Informal chat session using various books, flashcards, etc. Some weeks feature a half-hour episode of the Destinos series on DVD. Followed by discussion in Spanish. No instructor, no registration.

Little Ones – Family Lapsit

Little Ones – Family Lapsit Little ones ages 8 to 35 months are invited to join us for a fun 20-minute romp with music, books, rhymes, fingerplays, and felt stories. Sometimes we use a parachute or scarves to learn gross motor skills. We reinforce concepts such as colors, shapes & counting to help your child build a strong foundation of literacy skills. Siblings are welcome. Registration is not required.  

Concerts with Faculty and Guests

Weekly Free Concerts with Faculty and Guests Family Friendly concerts including the musical styles of Dixieland, Jazz and Classical Chamber Music.  Bring your lunch and enjoy the music. Paradise Valley Community College Studio Theatre/M-East Bldg. Thursdays, June 18 – July 23, 2015
