Sale at The Gold Mine Thrift Shop

We are cleaning out the store in preparation of closing the Gold Mine for the month of August. The clothing bag sales start Wednesday, July 29 and ends Saturday, August 1. Everything in the store is on sale this week. The Gold Mine will be closed the month of August for shopping, but we will be accepting donations in anticipation of September’s opening day.

Little Ones – Family Lapsit

Little Ones – Family Lapsit Little ones ages 8 to 35 months are invited to join us for a fun 20-minute romp with music, books, rhymes, fingerplays, and felt stories. Sometimes we use a parachute or scarves to learn gross motor skills. We reinforce concepts such as colors, shapes & counting to help your child build a strong foundation of literacy skills. Siblings are welcome. Registration is not required.  

Gentle Yoga

This slow-paced class focuses on breathing, gentle yoga poses, and stretching to increase flexibility and balance. Please bring a yoga mat. Registration Required: Contact instructor Sylvia Labrado: 480-776-4743 or agelessyogaaz@gmail.com Cost:  $5 cash, pay to instructor at each class.

Rock Art of Spur Cross

The petroglyphs found in Spur Cross were created hundreds of years ago by the Hohokam people. Come and walk in their footsteps as we visit a few of the more impressive sites in the conservation area during this moderate 2-hour walk.
