Special reading planned at Cave Creek Museum

November 17, 2021, Cave Creek, Arizona – The Cave Creek Museum will host a special hour with authors Jim “Great Elk” Waters and Kelly Pavlic on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 6:30-8:30 PM.

The pair will discuss their book entitled “Grandma Was a Kitchen Healer and Grandpa Grew Roses.” The story focuses on how the re-telling of family stories not only allows for the sharing of history, but of wisdom hard earned by elders. For more information, call the museum at 480.488.2764.

The 51-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research, and interpretive exhibits.
