Help us protect our sensitive desert!
Non-native plant species such as fountain grass are spreading across the Sonoran Desert. These intruders alter the landscape, crowding out native plants and displacing wildlife. They are also one of the primary causes of catastrophic wildfires in the desert
Join our efforts to battle these invaders!
We are seeking volunteers to help  remove non-native grasses. No experience necessary – just an interest in getting outdoors to help protect our beautiful desert. To get involved, join us at the following training workshop! This workshop will describe the fire risk and other threats associated with non-native plants.  Open to everyone.
