We invite participation through open auditions for all adult and youth shows; through a variety of educational opportunities including classes, camps, post-performance talkbacks, pre-performance “meet ups”; and by

Chances are you have heard about Rotary or you know someone who is a member, but you may not know that Rotary International helps millions of people around the world to fight hunger and disease, find  clean, safe water and learn how to read and write.

Scottsdale North Rotary Club is building on that tradition aimed at the next generation of Americans who want to make a difference – and meet others who also care about making our community a better place.

Scottsdale North Rotary Club meets in the evening in a casual atmosphere that encourages fellowship and fosters new ideas.  Our community service projects help people right here in the Valley in addition to other worldwide projects that we support through Rotary International.  Give us your time and help us make a difference!

The Rotary Club of Scottsdale North meets on Wednesdays at 5:45 pm at the Hacienda Mexican Grill in the Summit Plaza.

Rotary visitors are always welcome

Soroptimist International of Saguaro Foothills – Best for Women

Soroptimist is an international volunteer service organization founded in 1921 for women working to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.  Soroptimist International of Saguaro Foothills, chartered in May 1973, is one club in the Golden West Region.

Live Your Dream: Education and Training Award

The Soroptimist mission of improving the lives of women and girls is exemplified by our major project, Live Your Dream.

Each year Soroptimist gives over $1 million to women who need to improve their job skills through education and training.  Most are single mothers and heads of households who have overcome many struggles including domestic violence.

Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls

The Soroptimist Dream It Be It program targets girls in secondary school who face obstacles to their future success. Soroptimists work in partnership with girls in a conference setting to provide them with the information and resources they want and need to be successful.

Community Service

Bobcat Closet – Bobcat Closet is located at Black Mountain Elementary School, providing children in need in the Cave Creek Unified School District and surrounding area schools with new shoes, under clothes and gently used clothing.

Off To A Good Start – This annual club project, in partnership with the Carefree Kiwanis, provides backpacks and school supplies for children in need within our community.

Holiday Project – Each holiday season our club adopts families in need in our community and provides for them a meal, a tree and gift requests given to us from the families. Soroptimist also provides much needed personal hygiene products in festive gift bags that are distributed by the Foothills Food Bank.

The Annual Spaghetti Dinner is our major fundraiser and takes place in October at Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek.

Ladies Bunco Night is held twice a year with refreshments and prizes. The funds raised support our many local club programs.
